About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

good afternoon,

is an 24 hour visa free transit possible on both ways. My routing is DUS-PEK-MNL vv and on both journey the layover time in Beijing is 15hours. I have a Dutch passport.

hi, yes we want to do the great wall on our way to Manilla and Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city on our way back home

Of course, it is. You will be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit both ways and you don't need any kind of visa.

By the way, since your layovers are quite long, I assume that you will want to exit the airport. In this case, you are advised to book an accommodation, at least the simplest one and to print out the confirmation because if you apply for a temporary entry permit without a proof of your accommodation, you will be almost certainly not allowed to exit.

Good. The solution for this is to:

- Book an accommodation and do the tours on your own
- Book a tour

In both cases you will be almost certainly granted a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport. Please, keep in mind to have a printout of your accommodation booking or your tour booking.
