hello, why some some citys in China are paying ¥400 and others ¥800 to renew

They resident permit, when they have student visa???

I think it's because that the validities of the residence permits are different. If the validity is less than one year, the fee is CNY 400. If it's one year or longer, the fee is CNY 800.
