US citizen visiting from Hong Kong

Hello, I'm visiting HK & was hoping to go to Shenzhen for a day. I wanted to verify if US citizens could currently get the 5 day visa.

Yes, they are eligible for a 5 day Shenzhen VOA, but you are informed that the price of this visa is quite high for US citizens. The price is exactly 956 CNY, paid preferably in Chinese cash that you can obtain at one of many Hong Kong money changers. The best border crossing to take is Lo Wu / Luohu.
