Your itinerary is definitely eligible for visa free transit. Whether it will be 24 or 144 hour visa free transit, you can easily calculate by taking into account the total time from your scheduled landing in Shanghai, until your scheduled departure from Shanghai. So, if your total transit time is less than 24 hours, you will be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and if it is just a minute longer than 24 hours, you will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit. In other words, in any of the two cases, you don't need any kind of visa.

You will print out your flight and cruise tickets and bring those printouts with you. Please, have in mind that your flight from Dubai to Shanghai is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China and your cruise is not allowed to have its first port of call after Shanghai in mainland China.
