About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

If the maximum stay in Shanghai is 144hr - what is the minimum that you can stay?

Arriving SH 1830 on 6 Jan and departing SH 1055 on 8 Jan... so staying approx 40 hrs. I assume this is acceptable?
