About:Chinese Embassy in India

Stopover in Beijing International Airport for 11hrs

On my way to New Zealand for holidays via Air China flight. I have a stopover in Beijing for 11hrs. How can I get Free Transit Visa in that stopover time to go out for sightseeing?
Please inform n help.

As your layover is short, I cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to leave the airport. However, you can try to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport in order to go out for sightseeing. Just follow the signs for 24h visa-free transit passengers and you can find the counter easily.
