About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

TPE->Shenzhen->HKG->TPE

Many thanks for your clarification on my previous question, and may I further check if the following route works with 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit?
I fly from TPE to Shenzhen (Bo An airport) on Jan 12 and enter HKG (Lo Wu station by train) on Jan 14 morning, and depart from HKG to TPE on Jan 14 evening.
Many thanks for your advice!

You can do that, but with one very important change in your itinerary. This detail is that you are allowed to leave Shenzhen only by ferry from Shenzhen Shekou to Hong Kong Macau Ferry terminal. You will book your ticket through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger transport company website. After your booking is done, you will get an e-confirmation that you will print out and take it with you. This e-confirmation will be your proof that you will really be in transit and also to collect a real paper ticket at Shekou terminal. By the way, if you use Shenzhen airport, you cannot leave Guangdong province for at least 24 hours and 1 minute because if you use Shenzhen airport, you are allowed to proceed to Hong Kong or Macau only on 144 hour visa free transit. Also, you cannot use nay othr option beside the mentioned ferry. As you see, your itinerary is fine, but you really have to use a ferry exactly as I have described.
