About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Cruise ship travel to China

We are planning a cruise in May 2020, departing from Hong Kong, stopping in Shanghai, Tianjin and Dalian, then arriving in Japan. The China portion of the cruise is 5 days total. Trying to figure out if any visa free options will work for us. We are US citizens. Thank you for any advice you can provide!

Thank you for the reply. Do we have to book all shore tours with the same travel agency? We have 4 shore days in China. How can I find an approved travel agency?

You just need to book the tour for Shanghai. TravelChinaGuide is a reliable recommendation for you.

Holland America cruise falls under the 15 day cruise visa free exemption. You must be received in Shanghai by an approved Chinese travel agency on a group tour in order to be eligible.
