About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Extension of residence permit

I am working as a post doctorate in China and hold Z visa currently. Actually my temporary residence permit is valid till 23 December, 2019. I have applied for my residence permit before one month. There is problem. I am supposed to get back my passport on 30, December, 2018. As a matter of fact college will hold annual evaluation in 27 December, 2019. If my annual evaluation is negative, how they will deal with my application. As my temporary residence expires on 23 December but evaluation is on 27 December, 2019.

As you have already applied for the new residence permit, you are likely to get it before 27 December, 2019. However, if your annual evaluation is negative, the college may cancel your new work visa.
