About:Visa on Arrival

Hi, I'm UK Passport holder, I'm planning go to Shenzhen on 2nd or 3rd Jan 2020.

Would you please advise us normally how long we will get the China Visa?

If you are planning to visit Shenzhen and to remain within the city limits only, then you can apply for a Shenzhen visa on arrival at three border crossings and the best one is Lo Wu / Luohu. Please, be informed that Shenzhen VOA is available only when arriving from Hong Kong and Macau overland or by ferry to Shekou port.

The application process is pretty straightforward and the entire procedure takes between 15 and 40 minutes. The price for a Shenzhen VOA is 304 CNY and it is advisable to bring that amount in Chinese cash that you can easily obtain at one of many Hong Kong money changers.
