About:10-year China Visa

having a 10-year visa but just got my US passport renewed

"For US citizens, the 10-year China visa is still valid and they can enter China by carrying both your old and new passports, provided that the personal details on both passports are consistent."

Does "personal details" include passport number？because it will change. Other information regarding the person remain the same.

"Personal details" include name, age, sex, DOB and place of birth. Passport number is not tied to a person for life and is not considered a personal detail.
