About:10-year China Visa

USA Citizen with 10 year M Visa issued 7 May 2018 and enter before 7 May 2028. Is this still valid?

I had heard that all visa's from USA to China were cancelled during COVID and that I would need to reapply. Is the visa issued in 2018 still valid or do I indeed need to apply for a new Visa?

It’s valid now. BTW, when it expires in 2028, you can apply for a 3-year visa free of charge as a compensation for its invalidity during the covid pandemic.
