one way plane ticket fly into Guangzhou

With one way plane ticket fly from USA into china, will I be allowed for entry?
I will have itinerary to show my trip, after visiting Guangzhou , will take high speed rail to Hong Kong, then fly to Singapore, and back to USA from Singapore.
