About:China Work Visa

Background check (fingerprints) MUST be notarized?

Hi;

I can get a Canadian RCMP background check done from here in Vietnam (~ USD 430). I want to work in China.

Must the RCMP background check be authenticated and notarized by the Canadian and Chinese governments? Notarizing and authenticating is where the costs get even higher, and the PITA factor rises sharply. The RCMP record check itself a Canadian federal government document.

Yes. The RCMP background check can only be authenticated and notarized by the Canadian government and Chinese visa center in Canada.
