About:Visa on Arrival

VOA for Austrians

Hello, my name is Wilhelm, I'm an Austrian passport holder and I would like to visit Shenzen by ferry to Shekou. Would I get that VOA at the office in Shekou?

Yes, you are definitely eligible for 5 day Shenzhen VOA. The price for a Shenzhen VOA for Austrian citizens is 168 CNY and you are advised to bring that amount in Chinese cash that you can easily obtain at one of Hong Kong money changers. In case if you are arriving by ferry directly from HKIA, you will exchange your EUR or some other currency at the spot or you will pay for a visa by credit card. Please, just take care of the opening hours of Shenzhen visa on arrival office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 17:00.
