Working age limits

My wife is an Aust citizen as am I and well within the age requirements. She is applying for a Z visa as a teacher and holds a degree in biomedical science, I hold a degree in commerce and engineering. I am over the age limit for a work visa and am not applying for a position. We have both worked and spent many years in China as teachers We wish to return there as a family - will I be restricted due to age? Or will I be allowed to accompany her as a family unit?

David, if your wife can get a work visa, then you can get an S1 visa which has no age limits for applicants. Remember that you can't work in China with this S1 visa.
