About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa for trip Lux-HK-Beijing-Shanghai-Singapore-Lux

I’m a Belgian citizen and am planning the following business trip: Luxembourg - Hong Kong - Beijing - Shanghai - Singapore - Luxembourg for the period 17-24 Feb.
Do I need any specific visa ?

You need a tourist visa for your stay in China unless your stay is under 24 hours in Beijing and Shanghai.

Would I still need a visa if I would change to Luxembourg - Hong Kong - Beijing - Singapore - Shanghai - Luxembourg ?

That would be ok as long as your flight Shanghai - Luxembourg doesn't have another stop in China (there are no nonstop flights from Shanghai to Luxembourg as far as I know).
