International Airline Change Checked Baggage Question

We have a United Airline co-share ticket with Air China. We arrive PEK on Air China from Singapore then connect to our United flight to the US. Do we need to claim and recheck out checked bags at PEK or are they automatically transferred to the United flight?

I think you don't need to claim your luggage since you take connecting flight. But you better confirm with your airline.
