About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

I am Indonesian in Jakarta, having a cruise trip start from Shanghai, what kind of visa do I need ?

Cruise itinerary: Shanghai 2 nights, at sea 2days, Beijing 3 days 2 nights, Dalian 1 day, Korea, Japan, back to Shanghai port disembark and direct to Pu-dong Airport to fly back to Jakarta.

If your second trip in Shanghai is not more than 24 hours, you will need only a single-entry tourist visa for China.

When I disembark from the cruise ship at Shanghai Port, do I need apply a transit permit to Po Dong airport to fly back to Jakarta at the same day ? or I just show the airline ticket to Jakarta ?

You need to apply for a temporary stay permit in order to leave the port and head for Pudong airport.
