About:China Visa Application in USA

Do I need a tourist visa?

I will be arriving in Shanghai on Dec 11 at 6:00 am and plan on going to a local hotel and a quick stop at Disneyland. Then leaving on Dec 11th at 11:00 pm on that same day? flying to Bangkok Do I need the L visa? Or any visa?

Nick, if you fly from US to Shanghai and then to Bangkok, you don't need the visa. Whether you will be allowed to leave the airport depends on the immigration officer. I heard that nowadays you need to have a hotel booking at hand in order to leave the airport.
