No, you don't need any kind of visa because you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit during both of your itineraries.
You will print out your flight tickets and take those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in Indonesia or some other country from where you will depart toward Guangzhou, that you will travel to UK via Guangzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. The same will be valid for your journey back, but just in reverse order.
Since you will have to change the terminals, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter, immediately upon your landing where you will apply for a temporary entry permit. As soon as you accomplish this, you will collect your luggage, clear the immigration and make a transfer to another terminal. There you will perform a recheck, clear the security and immigration and proceed to your boarding gate.
