About:Beijing Travel

Will fly from MUC to PEK and from PEK to BKK. I want leave the airport in Beijing for sightseeing.

The flight fom PEK to BKK is within 24 hours. I am German and I don't need visa for this. But I have to apply for Temporary Entry Permit in PEK airport.

My question now: does this Temporary Entry Permit cost money ? If yes,how much ?

Thanks in advance

You are right. You need to apply for the Stay Permit at the airport. As I know, it is free.
You can complete the "embarkation/disembarkation card", together with your travel documents, boarding pass for the onward connecting flight and travel itinerary, go to the inspection counter of China Immigration Inspection to apply for stay permit.
