About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Malaysian & Japanese Visit Hainan Free and Easy Trip

I bought flight ticket thru China Southern Airlines as below :

Return flight for :
Penang - Guangzhou - Haikou
Haikou - Guangzhou - Penang

Do We need to apply Visa?

The answers to your question are very simple:

If your entire stay within China is up to 15 days:

- Japanese citizens doesn't need any kind of visa because Japanese citizens don't need a visa to travel to China for up to 15 days
- Malaysian citizens needs a Chinese tourist (L) visa obtained in advance because he/she has ruined the ability to be eligible for 30 day visa free access by arriving to Hainan from within mainland China

If your entire stay within China is more than 15 days

- Both, Japanese and Malaysian citizens need a Chinese tourist (L) visa obtained in advance because they have ruined the ability to be eligible for 30 day visa free access by arriving to Hainan from within mainland China
