About:How to Travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Visa on Arrival for Japanese

I will arrive at Hong Kong airport on 8/17 Saturday around 9:30am from US with Japanese passport. I'm not sure how long it will take to go thru with custom and baggage area. Do you think I can still make to get visa at the border via bus or boat? if there is no hope, I will just try to stay in HK without trying to be at the border. Please give me an advice.

Apply for Shenzhen VOA after landing in HK at 09:30? You can go to Luohu, Huanggang or Shekou to apply on the days.

From HKIA, it will take no more than 2h by MTR to Luohu (Lo W in HK) or Huanggang (Lok Ma Chau in HK), or to Shekou by fast ferry.
