Work proof letter dates match with dates stayed in China

Hello! Can I apply for the working visa with the work proof letter that mentions work during period when I was in China on the business and tourist visas?

You had better not use it because working in China on a tourist visa is illegal.

I want to know if it is a problem to provide a work proof letter from another country that mentiones dates when I was in China. Basically does system care that I'm employed as full time but work remotely while in China.
