About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong > Beijing > Hong Kong > UK

Hi

If I fly from Hong Kong to Beijing, return to Hong Kong then eventually to the UK will this work for the 144 hour visa?

Of course not. There is no "144 hour visa" anyway. There is 144 hours visa-free transit, but you are visiting China and not in transit to a third country. You must get a visa or change your itinerary.

Hi Saul thanks for getting back to me so quickly. We have altered our itinerary to be HONG KONG > BEIJING > MACAU which from what I've read above is acceptable for a 6 day Visa Free Transit?

Yes, HK - Beijing - Macau is ok.

That will be fine because it now fits the A > B > C pattern!
