About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Toronto-Beijing-Taiwan-Beijing

I am flying from Toronto to Beijing for 6 days then on to Taiwan for 7 days and then back to Beijing for 6 days - am I eligible for the 144 day permit on both trips into Beijing?
