usa - pek, pek - bkk -- short layover / checking bag

Hello, I am traveling from the USA to PEK in few days. We arrive at 17:00 via Delta Airlines (Terminal 2). We then depart on a separate flight on Hainan Airlines (Terminal 2) at 19:15.Is 2 hours and 15 minutes enough time between flights if we plan to check a bag?We will have to go to baggage claim and get bag then re-check since the airlines are different.
