About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Osaka-Tianjin-Beijing-Taipei

Hello

I hold an Australian passport and is travelling Osaka-Tianjin-Beijing-Taipei. From your post, because Tianjin and Beijing belongs to the same area, so the 144 hrs visa free is applicable in my case? Thanks.

Yes, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province are treated as a single transit area. You can enter and exit from different ports in the transit area. That became allowed when Beijing moved from the 72 hour to the 144 hour option.
