About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Xiamen

Can I exit China via train?

I will arrive in Xamen from Osaka airport. When I leave Xiamen after 4 days can I take a train to Hong Kong or do I need to use the airport?

Unfortunately, you cannot use a train because it is not eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Xiamen. You will have to take a plane.

By the way, if you are a Japanese citizen, then you really don't need to bother about these visa free transit details because you can travel and stay in China visa free. This implies that you can perfectly take a train from Xiamen to Hong Kong if you want.
