Documents Needed for Application - Confirmed Seat.

Hi,
I'm planning to travel from MUC to PVG and 6 days later with another carrier from PVG to BKK. I'm going to book all flights in advance but with my online booking i might not get a seat confirmation as mentioned above

Is it possible to get a free visa with booking confirmation for PVG -> BKK but without seat confirmation?
