Business visa after tourist visa

Hello everyone,

I am currently in China holding a tourist visa.
If I find a possibility of employment (a simple part time job) with a related sponsorship letter, what is the best way to handle the visa permissions?
Taken into account that the working visa is almost impossible for me to get, could you please check the below questions:
1. Is it possible to convert a tourist visa into a business visa with longer duration of stay and multiple entries? Maybe without exiting the country?
2.If I exit the country (f.i. Hong Kong) are there chances to obtain the business visa there?

1. It's possible to convert a tourist visa to a business visa with longer duration of stay without exiting the country, but it's not very likely to get multiple entries.

2. You can try to apply from the CVASC in HK or Bangkok for a business visa of China.
