I have an Indian passport travelling to Hong Kong on tourist visa and during my stay at Hong Kong would like to travel to China (Shanghai) on tourist visa. Can you please advise on the process and documents and any other procedural requirements.

Gop, you should apply for a China visa in the China Visa Center in India. First, prepare all documents including your passport, application form and photo, and round-trip tickets and hotel bookings. Then make an appointment on the website of the visa center. Next, go and submit the documents for visa.
