Hi does anybody know how far is bipengguo from Chengdu and how to get there?

As the information showed online, the distance from Chengdu downtown to Bipenggou is about 210 km (130 miles). There is one Bipenggou direct bus departs from Xin Nan Men Bus Station in Chengdu, but I am not sure whether it operates on the day you go as it is not available everyday. The bus departs at 8:40 am, and it takes around 5 hours on the way. As Bipenggou is in the remote area in Sichuan and the transportation is not convenient, it will be hard for foreigners to get there on their own. As a result, I think you may consider to charter a car in advance which is more convenient.

It will take you around 4 hours by driving ,and if you would like to take the public bus :
Option One:
From Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station take the bus to Malkang, Hongyuan, and Miaro, passing through Bipengou.

Option II:
Take the bus to Lixian, then from Lixian bus station take the rural van directly to Bipenggou.

Option III:
Sometimes in Chengdu, private car owners post travel sharing information online, you can pay a certain fee to go with them.

As the traffic conditions along the way are not very convenient, it is best to take a private car. Generally, you can leave at 9 am and reach the scenic area at noon. After having a meal at the gate of the scenic area, you can go up the mountain.
