About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Is it possible to obtain 4 (or 5) years temporary residence permit

if stayed and worked in China for 2 years consecutively on Z VISA?

You can renew your residence permit again and again, but it's not very possibly to get a residence permit with four or five years validity.
