About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

If I fly into HKG, take public road transit into Guangzhou then leave the same way

Am I eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit? Thank you!

No, they can only provide to you if u land in any of the 3 main airports , that they mention on top of this post

Also, after your flight to Guangzhou, you are not allowed to return directly to Hong Kong, but you have to go to Macau first and from there to Hong Kong.

One more important detail. To be allowed to do all the above mentioned, you will have to book a ferry ticket from Shenzhen Shekou ferry terminal to Macau through TurboJet ferry website in advance and have that ticket (in reality an e-confirmation) in your hand at the time of your check-in in Hong Kong. Please, keep in mind that you will really have to use exactly that ferry (catamaran in reality) that you have bought your ticket for.
