Shanghai Pudong Airport Metro to peoples square

Which line for metro would I take from international airport to peoples square? Would I need to transfer or is this a direct route? Usually took taxis in past but want to try a cheaper route. Thanks

You can take metro line 2 to People Square station (Exit 1) directly. It takes around 75 minutes with CNY7.
