About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hours visa free for Canadian citizen

I arrive Changsha Airport Nov.14.2019,10:20 am from Vancouver via Hong kong. Departure from Changsha Nov.16.2019,09:00 am to HCM city(Saigon),Vietnam via Guangzhou (change flight within 1h55 min.). I have confirmed flight tickets with seats. The Airline Catty Pacific told me I can use the 72 hour free visa.Is it OK to enter my flight without getting a visa before from Chines Embassy in Vancouver? please advise.

You will need a visa as there are two landings in mainland China. You can't travel between Changsha and Guangzhou on 72 hour visa free transit only the 24 hour direct transit. Any connections even for a minute counts the same as if you stayed the night. Apply for the 10 year multiple entry visa before your trip
