About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144-hour transit visa or L visa?

Hi, I have this situation:

Flight from São Paulo to Los Angeles to Shanghai (staying for 2 days in Shanghai) and then to Thailand. After 12 days, flight from Thailand to Shanghai and after 2 days flight from Shanghai to Los Angeles and then to Miami and finally São Paulo. Thanks for your help

Eduardo, if you are a Brazilian citizens, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area twice and you don't need any kind of visa as far as China is concerned. Please, be warned that you are not allowed to have any additional landing of any kind within mainland China beside Shanghai, of course.
