About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am flying to PEK via Changsha airport. Where do I apply for the 24 hour transit?

Hi I have a ticket booked from LAX to PEK but the route has a 3 hr stop in Changsha (1 booking).

I have a 12 hour transit at PEK before flying onwards to Australia.

Where would I need to apply for the transit visa? Changsha or PEK?

You clear immigration at your first landing in China, and then proceed as a domestic passenger.
