Do I need a tourist Chinese tourist Visa?

I am from Philippines.

I am invited by a friend to visit them in Guangdong, But I will land in Macau Airport and will visit first some tourist spot, then they will fetch me in Macau by Car to go to Guangdong, I am planning to spend atleast 7 days in total, I will depart in the same Airport in Macau.

What else do I need to know, It's my first time visiting china?

Leo, you will have to apply and obtain a Chinese tourist (L) visa at one of four Chinese diplomatic missions in the Philippines. You will enclose the invitation from your friend, fill out the necessary forms and bring a documentation that is required and you can see all the mentioned on the relevant websites of the mentioned missions. You will also present your itinerary, your flight tickets and in the end there should not be a problems that you are granted a Chinese visa, probably with a single entry.
