Do the tickets out have to be same booking?

Can you fly in on one booking and fly out in another booking? Does it have to be same airline?

You are perfectly allowed to use separate tickets that are the products of two different bookings and you can use different and unrelated airlines. These details have been eligible from the very beginning of visa free transit policy.
