Is there a Chinese Embassy/Consulate in San Diego?

How soon can I apply for a visa if my trip to China begins on April 16th?
What time does the office open to allow for same day service?

No, you need to apply at the consulate in LA.
The earliest time you can do the visa application is three months before your travel.
Business hours: 9:00 - 14:00 from Monday to Friday
