About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Eligibility 144-hours transit

Hello,

I am a German exchange student in Tokyo and want to travel Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.

Taiwan - Shenzhen (enter Shenzhen Bao Intl Airport)
(Travel Guangdong) - 144-hours visa?
Shenzhen - Hong Kong (exit by bus/train)(Visit Hong Kong)

Would I be eligible for a 144-hours visa in the Guangdoung region by entering through Shenzhen Bao Intl airport and leaving by bus/train for Hong Kong?

Is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in the entire Guangdong province. Anyway, to reach Hong Kong from Shenzhen, you will have to book a ferry ticket from Shenzhen Shekou port to Hong Kong through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport company website. Please, keep in mind that this ferry has to have its departure at least 24 hours and 1 minute distant from your scheduled arrival by plane to Shenzhen. You will print out an e-confirmation that you will receive on your email and you will use this e-confirmation as a proof that you will be traveling to Hong Kong. You will also use this printouts to collect your real paper ticket at Shenzhen Shekou ferry terminal. Please, you should know that you will have to take exactly that ferry that you have bought your ticket for!

Within the mentioned 144 hours that you will have at your disposal within Guangdong province, you are perfectly allowed to travel throughout the province by every mean of transport as you wish and to visit all places that you want.

One more detail... Anja, you should use correct terminology because this is not 144-hours visa, but 144 hour visa free transit, so you will travel without visa. There is no visa at all.
