About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I am an INDONESIAN passport holder.

I intend to travel with China Southern Airlines from Seoul to Sydney with 16 hours layover in Guangzhou.

Am I eligible for the 24hours Visa Frew Transit? And I am permitted to exit the airport and travel to Guangzhou downtown for sightseeing?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa.

Since you will travel on a single (through) tickets, I have to tell you that you will not be allowed to exit the airport because recently introduced policy at Guangzhou airport states that they will not issue temporary entry permit to passengers using 24 hours visa free transit on international to international connections.
