About:China Private Visit Visa

S1 visa

I am a Jamaican here in mainland China on an M visa with my fiance here on a Z visa with residency permit and she is an English teacher. We want to get married and apply for an s1 visa for me here. Is it possible that I can apply for a s1 visa here in the mainland after we are married or do I have to go back to my home country to apply for a s1 visa? My M visa has a lot of time on it and multiple entries.

After you get married, you can go to the local exit and entry administration in China to see if you can convert your M visa to S1 type. If not, you can go back to your home country to apply for S1.
