About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

If i want to travel to shanghai and then to peking does 72 hours mean in one city or in whole china

Hello i want to ask you if i want to travel 6 days in china.
1/10/2019 itravel from taipei to shanghai and 3/10/2019 from shanghai to peking and 6/10/2019 back to europe so that is 144 together but does apply for both cities shanghai and peking. 144 hours in shanghai and another 144 hours in peking or it is 144 in china?

You need a visa or different flights. You can have 144 hours in Beijing, or Shanghai, but not both. You must choose one or the other.

Ok thank you... and if i will be in beijing 3 days and i am flying to London but first i fly to Xian wait 7hours and then from xian to London because it is not straight flight... is this legal?

You need a visa to have more than 1 landing in mainland china. Like maybe the British Airways or Air China Beijing > London. Hong Kong is a third county so Cathay Pacific works as well.
