About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

From Hong Kong to Dongguan to a third country

Hi,
I need to go to Dongguan from Hong Kong and wonder if I am eligible for this type of visa, knowing that i am French, and can arrange to pass by a third country after Dongguan, prior to be back to HK.
Please let me know.

It's not a visa. It's a transit without visa. You cannot go directly to Dongguan, because you must arrive in Guangdong by air at Guangzhou, Shenzhen (not possible from Hong Kong) or Jieyang (which I don't think is possible either).
