Visa application for minor

I am divorced and have full custody of my 14 year old child. I am living in China and would like her to join me. How do I apply for her visa? Which documents do I need to submit in South Africa? She will be going to school in China

As she will study in China, she needs an X1 visa. You can help her to submit the application the CVASC office in South Africa. The documents may include her passport, a completely filled out application form, a recently-taken photo, JW201 or 202 form, an admission letter from the school, the original and photocopy of the unabridged birth certificate of the applicant or the Affidavit from the parents indicating kinship issued by local police station, photocopy of the parents’ passports or ID cards, and Notarized Parental Letter of Consent or the Affidavit from non-accompanying parent authorizing the travel. This letter or affidavit should contain the dates of travel and the parents contact information.
