About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

S2 visa extension or change to S1 In china?

got only 30 days S2 to visit my son in china (EU nationality like me who lives with his chinese mother, ans he has of course residence permit. i am divorced from her/ my chinese ex wife but she provides support for needed documents etc. can i extend this visa in china to 90 days or more given my circumstances? is it possible to apply i china for S1? anyone knows? thanks a lot.

You can not change the S2 visa to S1. Again you need to reapply it.

but S2 can be extended up to 90 or 180 days in china? i hear different info about this. i guess i will know when i go to the psb office there....:-/.
